Alne Cricket Club, Website >>

St. Mary's Church, Website >>
Visit our historic church, dating from Saxon times. It's beautiful and you don't have to be religious to visit/enjoy it. There is an area in the south part of the churchyard which is allocated as a site for quiet contemplation. It is marked by a wooden cross and there are a number of simple seats in the vicinity. Nearby is an ash tree estimated to be over 300 years old. All are welcome to enjoy the peace of this place.
A red phone box on Main Street has been converted into a mini-library.
